I’m a big proponent of family activities. The one currently keeping my family occupied is Rock Band 2. The no fail mode here makes it possible for the kids to rock out with us without affecting the overall score of our song.Whe the original Rock Band came out, I passed it on to one of my staff members because I really never got into Guitar Hero and I figured it was more of the same. I was wrong and I’m loving it more than ever these days.
Oh, and I fixed our busted guitar.

I’m a big time gamer. Not so much in the sense that I get to play a ton of games these days (because I don’t), but because I am a part of the gaming media and it’s kind of my non paying job to play games and write about them. Last night after dinner, the family sat down to enjoy a session of Rock Band 2 and the guitar was acting kind of funky. Funky being the laymans term for the fact that the strum bar is totally busted and refuses to accurately trigger a note.
Crap. I’m currently trying to procure another guitar of the PS3 variety.
Unfortunately all of the other guitars I have are for other platforms so they won’t work. This is my first personal experience with Rock Band hardware being faulty and I hope it’s the last.
