Blogs I Read, and You Should Too

December 18th, 2008

Everyone has a blog these days and it can be tough to find blogs that are truly worth following. I only really keep up with a handfull of them these days and here they are:

Dubious Quality – Bill Harris is a wonderful writer. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the one and only Austin Gaming Expo, where we had a table setup in our first valiant effort to build a real readership for Snackbar Games. Bill’s stories about his son Eli are classic and keep me in stitches. This is the top blog that I read right now.

Dooce – Heather Armstrong is a very opinionated woman with very strong convictions. She is also one hell of a writer. I like that she writes what she feels and seems genuine about it. The stories can be a big vulgar and profanity tends to be a staple. Fear not, it’s worth the read.

Collision Detection – Clive Thompson does a lot of writing for a lot of people and he’s more of a cyclical blogger, but his posts are almost always interesting and insightful, even if you don’t care for the content. He’s currently 2 months behind, so expect a wave of posts to hit in the new year.
