When it comes to photography, I’m probably not the person you want snapping your important pictures. On top of that, I’ve never really had a great camera up until now. Yesterday I got a Canon Rebel XS (1000D). I got a sweet deal on it and it even came with an extra telephoto lens to boot. So the question is, where do I go from here? I’m running on full auto at this point and while I’ve read about F-Stops and all that jazz, I still really have no bloody idea what I’m doing. Any advice is welcome.
you give it to me so i can take cool pictures
That’s kinda how I felt when I got the Sony camera kinda like that one…. It’s a really kool camera with so many switches, modes and functions… but it’s huge and clunky and I don’t know how to use ALL of the settings. I’ve now had it two years and have found uses for some of the features. Some by accident. Sorry I’m no help here either. Not really all that sure what you’re asking… More about the settings, or the act of photography?
HA. I’m keeping it and I’m looking for direction on information on where to get started in the world of photography.
So I busted out the manual last night and learned quite a bit. I’m surprised how much of it is on the art of photography and not just purely on the technical details of the camera. I got some great low light shots in the living room. Only one more day of practice before the most important day of the year.
DANG YOU!!! I really hope that my new camera that I better get for Christmas (LOL) takes good low light pics.
