Another Season Ends

Today wrapped up the final soccer game of the season for my little U6 YMCA team. I couldn’t be prouder of these little guys. Of the 8 kids on the team, none of them other than my son had ever played before. After only 8 weeks, they were out there playing like champs. There is something greatly rewarding about coaching sports and helping to build self confidence in these kids.
You were certainly a trooper… especially when I had to drag my child by the arm, kicking and screaming, (and that would be ME doing the screaming, since he was actually kicking ME) off the field.
But really, they were great!!! Good times… (seriously)
LOL. That was a pretty epic day. You handled it in a very dignified way. All things considered, it really was a great year.
